Lisa Mowery joined The Finer Points in 2015 with experience working on the banquet service industry. This gave her a true understanding and perspective of the operational side of events. Lisa earned a Master’s Degree in Finance from Wilkes University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bloomsburg University. She is a Certified Treasury Professional (CPT) and uses her skills in accounting and finance to help brides plan the wedding of their dreams, within their personal budget. Lisa is a Notary Public for the Commonwealth of Virginia. Lisa enjoys working with each couple to plan a fun and stress-free day for them and their families. Lisa is a travel sports mom of 2 children, lover of animals, yoga and is a Black Belt in Taekwondo. Clients describe her as “friendly and warm with a very positive spirit” Lisa is an amazing team player!
What is your favorite part of a wedding?
“My favorite part of the wedding is when the bride and groom get the opportunity to get a private viewing of transformed ballroom before the guests arrive. It’s usually only takes a few minutes but It’s a special moment for them to see their dreams come into fruition….and all of the hard work and planning has paid off. After the guests arrive; it’s party time!”
