Through devastating hurricanes, swarms of biting flies and mosquitos, and the constant pressure from developing the islands into prime beach vacation property, these horses, and the people they share the islands with, have found a way to live together in a most uncommon accord. The Outer Banks is really an incredibly remarkable and uniquely wondrous place.
The Finer Points Coastal has a passion for the history and resilience of the Corolla Wild Horses living wild and free and those that protect them! We love their spirit and perseverance to live and survive.
The Finer Points Coastal is proud to be a partner with the Corolla Wild Horse Fund, offering their “Wedding Event Program” as part of our planning options. This program gives couples the opportunity to make a donation to support the Fund and their mission-- to protect, conserve and manage the wild Spanish mustangs that roam the northernmost Currituck Outer Banks. Wild Spanish Mustangs have thrived on the Outer Banks for nearly 500 years. The work of the Corolla Wild Horse Fund helps to ensure that these beautiful animals and their environment are protected for years to come. The Corolla Wild Horse Fund Wedding Event Program provides couples the opportunity to raise awareness of the Fund and its mission, and to make a donation in lieu of (or in addition to) guest favors. This is an incredible way to contribute to preserving the history and future of Corolla's majestic horses.
